This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, head of the regional military administration Vadym Filashkin.
The head of Donetsk Oblast inspected the aftermath of recent enemy shelling in Sviatohirsk and Kramatorsk. In both cases, the occupiers deliberately targeted high-rise buildings, resulting in deaths and injuries.
"In Sviatohirsk, together with the head of the community, we identified the most urgent needs. The Donetsk Regional State Administration will provide assistance to the community in preserving damaged buildings. Currently, the community is providing temporary housing in a safer place for those families whose homes were damaged by shelling.
In Kramatorsk, shelling of a high-rise building in the old part of the city claimed the lives of six people. Local authorities are currently continuing to deal with the aftermath, clearing debris and removing rubble from the building. Where possible, communications are being restored in that part of the building.
Ensuring a relatively normal life where possible is the task of local and regional authorities. We will do everything possible to ensure that people who remain in the region have access to water, electricity, and gas supplies," emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
