The city has been without electricity for almost a day due to shelling by Russian occupiers. The situation is further complicated by freezing temperatures and constant enemy attacks.
During the meeting, participants discussed possible ways to restore power supply, and all services involved were given appropriate instructions.
“We are doing everything necessary to restore electricity to the community as quickly as possible.
Thanks to alternative power sources, mobile communications are currently operating in the community and heat is being supplied to residential buildings.
Points of Invincibility are operating around the clock, equipped with heating, electricity, communications and internet access, medicines, and rest areas.
Hot meals have also been organized.
Together, we are doing everything possible to ensure normal living conditions in communities where the security situation allows it. However, the enemy has significantly intensified shelling, which complicates the restoration of damaged networks.
Once again, I emphasize the need to evacuate from Druzhkivka and other frontline communities,”* Vadym Filashkin stressed.*
He thanked the Defense Forces of Ukraine, as well as everyone involved in evacuation efforts: volunteers, the White Angel police unit, and the Phoenix unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
He also expressed gratitude to utility workers for their prompt response to the critical situation in the city.
