The meeting was joined by Artem Nekrasov, First Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine.
The participants discussed compensation for electricity distribution system operators for electricity consumed by the Defense Forces, the construction of engineering protection for critical energy infrastructure facilities, and measures to ensure a stable electricity supply for Kramatorsk.
Amid continuous enemy attacks, Donetsk Region's energy system is operating under enormous strain. Its resilience is essential for sustaining local communities, hospitals, public utilities, businesses, as well as the units of Ukraine's security and defense forces.
"I also stressed the need to accelerate efforts to stabilize the energy system. Delays in addressing these issues are unacceptable, especially with the autumn and winter season approaching.
I would like to thank the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, DTEK Donetsk Power Grids, the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development, the Kramatorsk City Military Administration, and all meeting participants for their constructive cooperation," Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
