As part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project, a delegation from the Toretsk community paid a working visit to the Ruzhyn settlement territorial community in Zhytomyr Oblast. The delegation was led by Vasyl Chynchyk, head of the Toretsk City Military Administration.
The guests were warmly welcomed by Lyudmyla Bilyak, head of the Ruzhyn Community, and Oleksandr Chereshnyuk, head of the Vchorayshen Community. During the meeting, the parties engaged in a constructive dialogue on the further development of cooperation between the communities and identified key areas for joint work.
The meeting participants paid particular attention to education. They discussed opportunities for implementing joint educational initiatives, exchanging experiences between educational institutions, creating new opportunities for students and teachers, as well as developing the educational environment and supporting a high-quality learning process under current conditions.
Healthcare was a key focus of the discussion. The parties addressed the accessibility of medical services, ensuring an adequate level of support for community residents, and ways to develop cooperation in the field of healthcare.
Special attention was given to social protection. They discussed support for people who require special attention and assistance, ensuring high-quality social services, and creating conditions for effective cooperation in the social sphere.
They also discussed holding joint cultural, youth, and sports events that will help strengthen interregional ties, communication, and community cohesion.
The visit marked an important step in strengthening the partnership, reaffirming a commitment to open dialogue, mutual support, and collaboration for the sake of community development and the well-being of the people.
