July 1 is Investigation Day in Ukraine.
With the start of the Russian invasion, the work of National Police investigators took on new directions — they are the ones who document the crimes of the occupiers, help establish the fate of those missing, and return prisoners. It is thanks to investigators that traitors and collaborators are brought to justice and receive their deserved punishment.
Investigators in Donetsk region are on the ground and work daily in the hottest spots. I am glad that I had the opportunity to congratulate them on their professional holiday today. Together with Ruslan Osypenko, head of the Main Department of the National Police in Donetsk Oblast, I presented the employees of the investigative units with badges of honor, awards from the head of the Donetsk Oblast Defense Council, and letters of appreciation from the Donetsk Oblast State Administration.
"Together with the police and investigators, we protect our people, help them, and support them.
I am confident that truth and justice always prevail. And the investigators of Donetsk region are doing everything to ensure that no crime goes unpunished.
We are working together for a common victory!" said Vadym Filashkin.
