The Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, spoke with Ieva Varna, a journalist from the Latvian television channel TV3, about the current situation in the Donetsk region. He discussed the consequences of Russian shelling, the state of the region's defense, evacuation efforts, and support provided to local residents.
The situation in the region remains extremely difficult. Despite these challenges, the Donetsk region continues to hold the line thanks to the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the support of international partners and charitable organizations, and the dedication of local residents who continue working despite the constant danger.
"Russian propaganda continuously spreads false information about events in the Donetsk region. That is why it is important to provide our partners with truthful information and show them the real situation.
Latvia has long been a reliable partner of Ukraine and the Donetsk region, and we highly value its support at every level.
