Today, the “Pearl of Donetsk Region” is a place where our children can rest, recover, and leave the realities of war behind, at least for a while.
These opportunities are made possible thanks to the people and regions that have stood by Donetsk region during its most difficult times. I am grateful to the Head of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration, Myroslav Biletskyi, for his continued support of our region and our children.
During my visit, I attended a robotics workshop, visited the Football Museum, and took part in a drone operation training session conducted by representatives of the Youth Council.
The “Carpathian Shift” project, launched on the initiative of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the Ukrainian Association of Football, is being implemented at the “Pearl of Donetsk Region.” Here, children from frontline communities regain their strength, engage in sports, socialize, make new friends, and discover the beauty of the Carpathian Mountains.

The children of Donetsk region deserve care, joy, and a peaceful future. We are working to ensure they feel that,” emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
