On June 21, the Sheptytskyi People’s House hosted a performance of “Koza-Dereza” by the “Kazka” Model Children’s Puppet Theater, directed by Svitlana Romanova.

The theater’s senior troupe of young artists took the audience on a wonderful journey into the world of Ukrainian folk tales. Fun adventures, vivid characters, creative staging, and heartfelt emotions captivated both children and adults alike.

The musical accompaniment by Viktor Kovalenko created a special atmosphere for the performance, successfully complementing the action on stage and helping the audience immerse themselves in the magical world of the fairy tale.

Internally displaced persons from Donetsk Oblast, who currently reside in the Sheptytsia community, also attended the performance. This was made possible by the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” which aims to support and integrate residents of communities affected by the war.

The audience watched the adventures of the cunning Goat-Dereza with great enthusiasm and generously applauded the young actors. The performance delighted everyone with its high quality and left all in attendance in high spirits, with pleasant memories and the joy of togetherness.

“Culture is an important tool for bringing people together. We are glad that, thanks to cooperation among communities, we can create a space for our fellow citizens to socialize, relax, and gain new positive experiences,” said Dmytro Shynkar, head of the “Unity” hub.
