Over the past 24 hours, more than 1,200 enemy shelling incidents were recorded in 16 settlements in the Donetsk region. The attacks damaged residential buildings, public infrastructure, and social facilities. Unfortunately, one person was killed, and seven more residents of the region were wounded.
Yuriy Vinokurov, First Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, spoke about the current situation in the Donetsk region during a live broadcast of the “Yedyni Novyny” telethon.
A large-scale evacuation of the population is underway in the region. In certain parts of the Sloviansk and Kramatorsk communities, mandatory evacuation of families with children has been implemented, and elderly people are also being evacuated on an ongoing basis.
