Over nearly a year of operation, the center has provided assistance to around 60,000 of our people, including 7.7 thousand children and 3 thousand individuals with limited mobility. The center assists with accommodation, provides humanitarian and financial support, and organizes medical and psychological care.
The Head of Donetsk Oblast spoke with the team that works with evacuees daily and discussed pressing issues that arise during mass evacuations. Following the discussion, Vadym Filashkin issued instructions for their resolution.
"For their professionalism and help to our people, I honored representatives of Donetsk and Kharkiv Oblasts, staff of the transit center, and partner organizations with Honorary Certificates and Letters of Commendation from the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
I am sincerely grateful to Kharkiv Oblast, the center's workers, volunteers, and everyone who meets our people in their most difficult moments and helps them take the next step after evacuation," emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
