On the occasion of Defenders of Ukraine Day, Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, presented military personnel, law enforcement officers, and rescue workers with the “Defender of Donetsk Region” and “Badge of Honor” lapel pins.
The head of the Donetsk region also presented Certificates of Honor from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to Vladislav Lavryk, head of the Volnovakha District State Administration, and Artur Nasibyan, head of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs at the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
“For me, such awards are a sign of respect for the character of our people—for their resilience, courage, and willingness to stand up for what is right even in the most difficult times. I thank each and every one of you who stands up for our land and our people. Donetsk Oblast is holding strong. Because there are people to hold it up,” said Vadym Filashkin.
The video captures just a few moments from that day. But behind every frame lies so much more: service, responsibility, risk, and the daily struggle for Donetsk Oblast and all of Ukraine.
