Together with Corps Commander Colonel Bohdan Shevchuk, the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration awarded the defenders with the “Defender of Donetsk Region” and “Badge of Honor” medals.
“Among those honored are infantrymen, artillerymen, drone operators, signalers, sappers, and service members in other specialties who carry out combat missions every day on one of the toughest sections of the front line. Behind each of these awards lies specific work, risk, and responsibility for our comrades and for our land,” emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
He also thanked Colonel Bohdan Shevchuk and every soldier of the 20th Army Corps for their courage, resilience, and service to Ukraine.
The head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration stressed that it is a great honor for him personally to shake hands with those who are defending the Donetsk region today.
