The event took place today as part of the XII Congress of Educators of Donetsk Oblast.

Together with Olha Budnyk, Advisor — Presidential Commissioner for the Foundation of the President of Ukraine for Support of Education, Science, and Sports, as well as heads of relocated educational institutions and representatives of military administrations, the Head of Donetsk Oblast discussed how to preserve and develop the region's educational system amid the war.

During the round table, best partnership practices between relocated institutions and communities of Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Dnipro, Ternopil, and Zakarpattia regions were presented. Among these are the retention and growth of the student body, creation of modern educational spaces, opening of laboratories and learning centers, and the formation of a new educational ecosystem for Donetsk Oblast.

"Thank you to all educators and partner communities who prove every day that even in the toughest conditions, Donetsk education continues to operate, develop, and prepare for the future.

Relocation is not just a move. It is the ability of teams to adapt, find new partners, and create opportunities for pupils and students wherever they are today.

Our goal is not merely to preserve the educational system. We must make it stronger, more modern, and ready for the recovery of Donetsk Oblast," emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
