The participants discussed the functioning of the education system, particularly in frontline areas.
Special attention was given to teachers’ salaries.
“Our shared task is to ensure that educators in Donetsk region, who work under difficult conditions, receive достойна pay,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
They also discussed education in the context of potential blackouts. Six schools have already been relocated to safer regions and are fully equipped — from generators to heating systems — and are ready to operate under any conditions.
Other institutions have been working remotely for years, and together with communities and partners, efforts are ongoing to ensure continuity of education.
The meeting also covered other educational initiatives of the President and the First Lady.
“It is extremely important that, even during wartime, the government pays so much attention to our children. Despite all the challenges, they have the right to quality education, and authorities at all levels are making every effort to ensure this.
We continue working together for the sake of our children!” Vadym Filashkin stressed.
