The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko.

For Donetsk Region, such decisions are of particular importance. The region operates every day under constant shelling, infrastructure damage, and ongoing security threats. Therefore, resilience is not an abstract concept—it is the practical ability of communities to continue living and working while rapidly restoring essential services after enemy attacks.

During the meeting, participants discussed the protection of energy facilities and critical life-support systems, the development of additional sources of electricity and heat, backup power supplies for heating, water supply, and wastewater infrastructure, as well as the use of state funding for measures aimed at strengthening regional resilience.

"For Donetsk Region, the priority is to ensure that critical infrastructure can withstand these challenges and that people continue to have access to essential services even under the most difficult conditions.

I would like to thank the Government, the relevant ministries, and public agencies for their attention to the needs of the regions," Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
