The discussion focused on how Ukraine is directly implementing European approaches to regional policy, including planning, public investment reform, and cooperation between the state, regions, and local communities.
For Donetsk region, the practical implementation of these approaches is particularly important. We need clear rules, access to EU financial instruments, and opportunities to rebuild communities based on the principles of cohesion.
A key focus of the conference was the implementation of the Master Plan for Chapter 22, which is intended to help Ukraine prepare for the EU Cohesion Policy and the future use of its funds.
