On June 6, 2026, the final round of the 26th International Competition for Young Designers, “Pecherski Chestnuts,” organized by the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, took place in Kyiv.
This year, the competition featured 300 creative works submitted by 270 talented young designers. The geographical scope of the participants was impressive, as representatives from educational institutions in Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, the United States, Greece, China, and the United Kingdom presented their projects.
The Donetsk region was represented at the competition by Olga Kuznetsova and Olena Maryanchuk, students at the Kramatorsk Vocational College of Technology and Design. Their original clothing collection, “The Path to Rebirth,” dedicated to people who were forced to leave their homes due to the war but found the strength to recover, move forward, and build new lives, was awarded an honorable second place.
We congratulate the students and the faculty of the Kramatorsk Vocational College of Technology and Design on their outstanding achievement in the competition. We wish them new creative accomplishments, inspiration, and the successful implementation of future projects.
