The participants discussed the humanitarian and security situation in the Donetsk region, the ongoing evacuation efforts, support for internally displaced persons, and preparations for the 2026–2027 heating season. Particular attention was given to assisting vulnerable residents of the Donetsk region through the winter support program.
They also reviewed a project to install mobile reinforced concrete shelters. At present, the delivery of 21 such shelters has already been approved for the region. The first batch is expected to arrive in August, with the second scheduled for September.
"I thank Maksym Dotsenko and the entire team of the Ukrainian Red Cross for their humanitarian, social, and psychosocial support to the residents of our region.
We agreed to continue working together on solutions that will help protect people and support those who need it most," Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
