Today’s meeting brought together 26 active young people — representatives of student self-government bodies, public organizations, and youth councils from local communities. It is especially important that among them are military personnel, veterans, and a representative of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. This means that the youth policy of Donetsk region is being shaped by people who deeply understand the realities of war and the challenges facing our region.
The participants discussed their plans and areas of work, including support for local youth councils, new partnerships, the development of communication, patriotic education, and practical training in safety and first aid.
“I am sincerely glad to see such strong, motivated, and caring youth from Donetsk region.
I presented certificates of appreciation from the Donetsk Regional State Administration for their active civic position demonstrated through real actions.
It is inspiring to see that the youth of Donetsk region are not waiting for change but creating it themselves — launching new projects, working on grant programs, and promoting the interests of the region at both the national and international levels.
I thank the Youth Council for their energy, dedication, and strong ideas. It is this kind of youth that is shaping the future of Donetsk region and all of Ukraine,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
