The head of Donetsk Oblast held a meeting with volunteer Denys Khristov and police officers from the White Angel evacuation group, Hennadiy Yudin and Dmytro Soloviy.
They discussed the evacuation of people from the most dangerous communities in Donetsk Oblast, cooperation between evacuation groups and the authorities, the difficulties of such operations, and Russian war crimes.
Denis shared his project — a documentary film called “Girnyk” about the lives of residents of a small mining town. He wants to show the world how communities near the front line live, what people face, and why it is so important to leave before the mines arrive.
They also discussed the possibility of creating similar films about other cities in Donetsk Oblast so that the pain and suffering that the enemy has brought to our land will not be forgotten.
“I presented Denis with the Donetsk Regional State Administration's ”Sign of Honor“ badge, and the ”white angels" with commemorative awards as a symbol of respect for their courage.
I believe that together with people like Denis' team, our ‘White Angels’ and our military, we will protect our people and defend Donetsk region," Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
