A productive meeting was held with Ms. Cynthia Viveros Cano, Deputy Head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Ukraine, and Mr. Alhadi Albaridi, Head of the OCHA Regional Office in Dnipro.
The discussion focused on the Humanitarian Response Plan for Donetsk Region for the 2025–2026 Autumn-Winter Period, which was presented by the partners.
“Today’s meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the current needs of Donetsk region to ensure a stable heating season and to reaffirm that our friends are with us and ready to offer support.
I am grateful to all international partners for their attention to the region — your support is incredibly important for the residents of Donetsk region.
Our region is currently facing extremely difficult conditions — the enemy is systematically destroying our cities and infrastructure. Yet, despite this, we are doing everything possible to help both those who remain in the region and our displaced persons.
The ongoing support of such reliable partners as OCHA, as well as representatives of the relevant clusters, gives us strength,” said Vadym Filashkin.
