The meeting focused on discussing the most pressing humanitarian needs of Donetsk region.
Key topics included the situation in hospitals, schools, and public utility facilities, as well as support for vulnerable groups — both within the region and beyond.
"I placed particular emphasis on preparing the region for the autumn-winter period of 2025–2026. The conditions are challenging: daily shelling by Russia destroys infrastructure, housing, and undermines the resilience of our communities.
That’s why we need support — in the healthcare system, in the housing and utility sectors, and in targeted assistance for people in need.
Our determination to resist and work hard remains unchanged. We deeply value the support of our international partners — it literally saves lives.
