The Head of Donetsk region discussed the state of communications in the region with community leaders, mobile operators, and internet providers.
The main focus was on uninterrupted power supply for base stations, the operation of mobile and fixed communications and internet services during outages, as well as the readiness of Invincibility Points. Urgent issues requiring prompt solutions were also addressed.
“We are providing operators with generators and assisting in the connection of uninterruptible power systems and fuel supply.
I instructed community heads to maintain constant contact with operators and help provide resources. It is necessary to explore ways to supply key providers using xPON technology with powerful diesel generators and to form a fuel reserve.
Separately, regarding Invincibility Points — they must ensure stable mobile and internet connectivity even in the event of a total power outage.
We are working together to ensure that communication in Donetsk region remains reliable and uninterrupted,” emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
