Who needs to complete identification?
Recipients of pension/insurance payments who:
🔹 reside in territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation;
🔹 temporarily reside abroad (for at least 183 days).
🗓 The deadline for identification is DECEMBER 31 each year.
How to complete identification?
You can choose one of four convenient methods:
1️ Online — via the Pension Fund of Ukraine web portal portal.pfu.gov.ua, after authorisation in your personal account using a qualified electronic signature Dія.Підпис (“Dія ID”), (video instruction — https://t1p.de/vxr1j).
2️ Via video conference — you can submit an application for identification via video conference through the Pension Fund of Ukraine web portal https://portal.pfu.gov.ua/ by filling out the appropriate electronic form (instructions 👉 https://t1p.de/x1206), or through the Contact Center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine by calling: 0 800 503 753, (044) 281-08-70, (044) 281-08-71.
3️ Through Ukrainian diplomatic missions abroad — a recipient of payments who is temporarily residing abroad may contact the Ukrainian embassy or consulate and obtain a document certifying that the person is alive.
📩 The document certifying that the person is alive, together with a written application from the person for the continuation of pension payments (monthly lifetime cash benefits), insurance payments, drawn up in any form, must be sent to the Main Office of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast by post to the following address: 49008, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Dnipro, 106 Nadiya Alekseyenko Street.
📍A document certifying that the person is alive can also be submitted electronically — via the Pension Fund of Ukraine web portal portal.pfu.gov.ua in the “About pension provision” menu section, select the “Changes to pension records” tab, fill in the required fields of the application and attach a scanned copy of the certificate from a foreign diplomatic institution of Ukraine confirming that the person is alive, as well as documents proving the person's identity.
4️ In person at any service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine or banking institution — present an identity document (passport) during your visit.
Important! Persons residing in temporarily occupied territories or who have left temporarily occupied territories will only receive pension/insurance payments if they do not receive pension/insurance payments from the pension authorities of the Russian Federation.
