On the eve of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, the Toretsk and Ruzhyn communities are uniting in a joint symbolic event called the Unity Bike Drive.
This is an initiative implemented within the framework of the national project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities," which strengthens the partnership between the Toretsk City Military Administration and the Ruzhyn Village Council.
This event is a way to express our sincere gratitude and deep respect for those who defend Ukraine's freedom and independence. It symbolizes the cohesion of the east and center of Ukraine, the unity and invincibility of our people.
Dates of the event: September 25 – October 1, 2025.
Location: any safe and convenient route in your community.
Time: choose a time that is convenient for you.
How to join:
- Prepare a bicycle in good working order;
- decorate it or yourself with elements of national symbols (flag, ribbon, piece of clothing, etc.)
- take a photo or a short video of yourself while participating;
- post it on social media with the hashtag #Unity Bike Ride;
- send your photos/videos to [email protected] by September 30, 2025 (in the subject line, please indicate: "Bike ride - the name of your community").
The Unity Bike Ride is more than a sporting event. It is a manifestation of our gratitude, support and conviction: Ukraine is united and invincible!
