Our joint patriotic event, the Unity Bike Drive, dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, has come to an end. And it was much more than just a sporting event. It was a week that proved once again that Ukrainians cannot be broken or divided!
The initiative, which is being implemented as part of the national project "Side by Side: Cohesive Communities," resonated powerfully in the hearts of the residents of the Toretsk and Ruzhyn communities, who demonstrated incredible cohesion and strength of spirit.
- Ruzhyn community: The Relay of Resilience that united the community!
The partners from the Ruzhyn community came up with a special creative approach to the event, turning it into a real relay race of unity. The cyclists did not just cover the distance, but created a living chain of patriotism: starting in one village, they solemnly passed the symbolic flag of unity to the residents of the next, and so on - through the entire community. This route became an embodiment of cohesion, where each participant was an important link in a great common cause.
It was especially inspiring that this initiative was personally led and supported by the village head, Liudmyla Bilyak, who, together with her fellow villagers, traveled part of the route, demonstrating an example of true leadership and unity with the people.
- Toretsk community: A spirit that knows no borders!
It is with special pride and heartbreak that we recognize the participation of the Toretsk community. Despite the extremely difficult conditions, constant challenges related to the hostilities and evacuation, our residents have once again proved that their spirit is unbreakable.
From different parts of Ukraine and even the world, Torets residents got on their bicycles, decorated them with national symbols and covered kilometers to express their gratitude to the defenders and support their community. Every photo and video sent to us is evidence that Toretsk is not just a city on the map. It is a large family of free and strong people united by their love for Ukraine, no matter where they are.
