In the run-up to the Easter holidays, the Donetsk region hosted a regional competition and exhibition of decorative, applied, and fine arts titled “Easter Wonderland.”
This is a vibrant artistic event initiated by the Donetsk Regional Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity with the aim of supporting creatively gifted children, developing their talents, and engaging them in active artistic life.
Between February and April 2026, 367 creative works by students from extracurricular education institutions in 20 local communities across Donetsk Oblast were submitted to the jury for consideration.
Students from the Donetsk Regional Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity, the Donetsk Regional Ecology and Natural History Center, Kostiantynivka Special School No. 32, Novozhelanivka Special School No. 39, Paraskoviivka Special School No. 40, Kramatorsk Special School No. 33, and Sloviansk Special Schools No. 23 and No. 41.
Among the participants were 98 children with special educational needs, whose works are filled with sincerity, warmth, and boundless imagination.
The competition was held remotely and included two categories:
- “Decorative and Applied Arts”
- “Visual Arts”
