From March 30 to April 3, 2026, Rivne Oblast hosted participants in the third stage of the All-Ukrainian Student History Olympiad. A total of 156 students in grades 8–11 from all regions of Ukraine competed in the finals.

For several days, the participants immersed themselves in an atmosphere of intellectual excitement, challenges, and inspiration. They demonstrated their knowledge and competed for the title of top history experts. Over the course of two days, the students completed theoretical and practical tasks: they worked with historical sources, documents, and maps, and analyzed historical processes and phenomena.

In addition to the competition, participants had a wonderful opportunity to socialize, exchange experiences, and meet peers from different regions of the country. The students visited key cultural and historical sites in Rivne, which helped them gain a deeper understanding of the context of Ukrainian history.

The team from Donetsk Oblast achieved outstanding results in the competition finals. Ignat Tverdun, a 9th-grade student at the “Uspikh” General Secondary Education School of the Kramatorsk City Council, took the honorable third place.

The following participants received diplomas:

Oleksandr Yanchenko, a 10th-grade student at the “Academic” General Secondary Education Center of the Kramatorsk City Council;

Diana Shcherbakova, an 11th-grade student at Avdiivka General Education School No. 7 (Grades 1–3) of the Avdiivka City Council.

We warmly congratulate the young historians of Donetsk Oblast! Achieving national recognition is a strong testament to your skill and perseverance. We hope that the experience you have gained will contribute to your continued success in your studies and personal development!

We express our sincere gratitude to team leader Emil Aminov, a history teacher at Avdiivka Secondary School No. 7, for his professional support of these young talents. We also thank everyone who helped organize the trip, prepare the team, and accompany the participants to the competition venue.
