Representatives of the Velykonovosilky Village Council joined the festive online event “Unity Through Traditions,” organized by the Teplitsa community as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”
The event served as a warm platform for communication, sharing experiences, and learning about the cultural characteristics of different regions. Participants shared Easter traditions, family customs, and rituals passed down from generation to generation.
The Teplitsa community presented the unique traditions of the Vinnytsia region: the art of pysanka egg painting, the symbolism of ornaments, and the ritual performance “Vodyty Volodar,” which is included in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Ukraine.
Such initiatives contribute to the preservation of cultural heritage, deepen mutual understanding, and strengthen partnerships between communities.
