On September 26, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs of the Bakhmut District State Administration organized a visit to the eco-park in the village of Turove for veterans and the families of defenders.
Representatives from the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Affairs joined the event.
Participants had the opportunity to spend time in nature, socialize in a relaxed atmosphere, visit the complex’s tourist attractions, and take a walk around the grounds to see the picturesque lake, landscaped areas, a mini-zoo with birds, and the stables.
The next stop was the “Leleki” equestrian sports center, where participants continued their time together, learned about the complex’s facilities, and had the opportunity to go horseback riding and visit the swimming pool.
The organization of such events aims to create conditions for the psychological and emotional recovery of veterans, military personnel, and their family members; to support the families of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine; and to foster communication and strengthen family and social ties.
