From September 10 to October 25, 2025, the Donetsk Regional Ecological and Naturalistic Center held a regional competition of calendar farming rituals called "Kolo Svaroga" — an annual event that brings together children, parents, and teachers around the preservation and promotion of Ukrainian national traditions.

The event was attended by 221 participants from 27 territorial communities of the Donetsk region. The works were presented both individually and by families and creative groups, which particularly emphasizes the family and educational nature of the initiative.

This year, the competition was held in four meaningful categories:

  • "Didukh — the talisman of the Ukrainian people,"
  • "Vyshyvanka — the talisman of my family,"
  •  "Calendar farming rituals,"
  • "Bread – the greatest treasure."

The "Kolo Svaroga" competition, organized by the Donetsk Regional Ecological and Naturalistic Center, preserves and promotes authentic Ukrainian traditions and effectively contributes to the education of conscious and patriotic citizens of Ukraine.
