Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Igor Boiko took part in an online meeting organized by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine and chaired by Deputy Minister Mykola Kolisnyk.

During the event, issues related to the actual balance of light petroleum products in Ukraine were discussed, particularly in frontline regions, which include the Donetsk region.

In his report, Ihor Boiko informed that as of October 1, 2025, there are 42 gas stations operating in six territorial communities of the Kramatorsk district in the region.

The deputy head paid special attention to the issue of fuel infrastructure security. He emphasized the need to strengthen the protection of gas stations from possible enemy attacks.

In addition, Ihor Boiko noted that an additional fuel reserve is being formed in the region for the needs of critical infrastructure, emergency and rescue services, medical institutions, and utilities. This will ensure the uninterrupted functioning of facilities that provide essential services to the population in the event of emergencies or supply disruptions.

The meeting concluded by emphasizing the importance of constantly monitoring petroleum product reserves, coordinating actions between government agencies and businesses, and increasing the resilience of the energy system in frontline regions.
