On the eve of Ukraine's Constitution Day, a final gathering of student government leaders took place under the title "We are the future of Ukraine. We are the voice of the generation!".

The event marked a significant conclusion to the school year for student leaders in Donetsk region. It united the thoughts, hearts, and ideas of those who are already taking responsibility for the future today. The focus of the discussion was the Constitution of Ukraine as the foundation of statehood, a guarantor of rights, freedoms, and the dignity of the citizen, and as a moral compass for the new generation of Ukrainians.

With sincere gratitude, the participants addressed the Defenders of Ukraine – those thanks to whom dreams, freedom of thought, and peaceful childhood are possible. A symbolic phrase opened all subsequent speeches: "They are the shield for our childhood, and we are the voice of their hope".

The young leaders prepared a "Manifesto of Peace" – a symbolic collection of articles for the Constitution of the future. These were not legal texts, but sincere dreams that express faith in a peaceful Ukraine:

  • Article 1. In a free Ukraine, children no longer know what an air raid alert is. They know what a dream is.
  • Article 5. The new Constitution has no section on war. There is only a section on peace.
  • Article 8. Every child has the right to their voice – and they will be heard.

The musical symbol of the event was a piano composition performed by a young leader from Bakhmut, Myroslav Kotska. Her gentle melody filled the space with warmth, hope, and faith in our Victory.

A touching moment was the farewell to this year's graduates of the student government. Their term has ended, but not their mission – to be change-makers and active citizens. At the same time, the youngest activists – participants in patriotic projects, creative initiatives, and video appeals – were welcomed with inspiration.

Special words of gratitude were expressed to the coordinators, educators, and mentors – those who help young people to open up, act, and think freely, responsibly, and in a Ukrainian way every day.

Thank you to everyone who walks towards change with an open heart and sincere love for the Motherland.
