On July 18, 2025, Yulia Ryzhakova, head of the children's affairs service of the regional state administration, visited the family-type children's home Karnaukh to support communication with foster parents and children who have temporarily relocated to safe regions of Ukraine.
The family-type children's home, which cares for 10 orphans and children deprived of parental care, was forced to leave its hometown of Sloviansk and temporarily relocate to the city of Dnipro in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Today, the family lives in a two-story private house with comfortable living conditions, purchased with funds from the state budget and provided to the family for free use, but the foster father and the children do not lose hope of returning to their native Donetsk region.
During the visit, issues regarding the provision of educational and medical services for children, as well as needs related to settling the family in the new place of residence, were discussed.
At the end of the meeting, the family received fruits and sweets for the children.
