On June 19, as part of the implementation of the project "Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities," a visit by representatives of the Toretsk City Military Administration took place in the Ruzhyn Village Community of the Zhytomyr region.
The delegation from the Toretsk community included the deputies of the head of the Toretsk City Military Administration Lyudmyla Yeslyukova, Yuriy Yevsikov, Alina Fomkina, and a representative from the community's medical sector.
The guests were warmly welcomed by the head of the Ruzhyn community, Lyudmyla Bilyak. During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to establish effective cooperation between the communities in the following key areas:
- Medicine: expanding access to medical services, particularly for internally displaced persons.
- Social protection: support for the clients of the Communal Institution "Territorial Center for Social Services (provision of social services)" of the Toretsk MVA, which is temporarily operating in the village of Karabchiiv in the Zhytomyr region.
- Education and culture: planning joint educational and cultural initiatives aimed at integrating communities and developing interregional connections.
- Youth policy and sports: creating conditions for active youth participation in public life, organizing sports events.
This visit was an example of constructive dialogue built on mutual respect, trust, and a shared vision for the development of communities in wartime conditions.
We thank the Ruzhyn community for the warm meeting, openness, and willingness to work together for the well-being of our people.
Together — we are stronger!
