This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Regional Military Administration.
The Russians dropped an aerial bomb directly on a residential building where a family of five was staying—a married couple and three children.
The father and his adult son were killed. The mother, a 16-year-old daughter, and an 11-year-old son were wounded.
This family had been evacuated to Odesa Oblast in November last year, but in December they returned on their own to the frontline settlement of Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka.
Alongside condolences, there is also outrage, as the parents consciously decided to leave a region far from the front line and bring their children back under enemy bombs.
“I don’t know how many more such stories it will take for everyone to finally understand: staying in Donetsk Oblast is dangerous! Every day here is an unjustified risk to life and health!
I urge all residents of Donetsk Oblast—especially parents with children—to evacuate! Take responsibility for your lives into your own hands and do not wait until another Russian strike takes them away!
Take care of yourselves and your loved ones!” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
