Save from oblivion: All-Ukrainian competition of multimedia projects has started

We call on young people, students, and educators to join the annual All-Ukrainian competition of multimedia projects "Save from Oblivion."

The aim of the competition is to increase interest in Ukrainian history, preserve national memory, overcome historical myths, and highlight the struggle for Ukrainian statehood, in particular through the prism of family stories.

Who can participate?

  • High school students.
  • Students of higher education.
  • Teachers.
  • Youth public organizations and creative unions.

Both individual and group projects are accepted for the competition.

Requirements for the works

  • Format: Amateur documentary and/or fiction videos/films in .avi format.
  • Duration: Should not exceed 8-10 minutes (recommended minimum duration is 5 minutes).
  • Language: The author's text should be in Ukrainian.
  • Mandatory: Use of your own footage.
  • Design: At the beginning of the video work, clearly indicate the title of the material and its authors with the place of study or work.

Deadlines and submission

  • Deadline for submission of works: According to the current Regulations, works are accepted until January 1, 2026.
  • Where to send: Entries and the participant's (participants') application form should be sent by e-mail: [email protected]
  • Winners will be awarded: It will take place approximately from April 15 to 20, 2026. The winners will receive honorary awards and cash prizes.
