Traditionally, on the eve of Christmas, Ukrainian scout organizations — Plast and Scouts of Ukraine — brought a symbolic flame lit in Bethlehem for the Donetsk region and handed it over to the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin.
The head of the region spoke with the young people and noted that with each year of war, the flame of peace becomes more and more significant, and the moment of its transfer becomes more and more emotional.
"We believe that soon this flame will truly mark peace in Ukraine — a just peace after our victory. Thank you to everyone who has supported this bright and warm tradition in Ukraine for many years," emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
