Three years of full-scale war, followed by a pandemic. They studied remotely, many of them far from home. Some of them will never be able to return to their school or enter their own homes again.
But they survived. They all became the best among equals. And now, having a choice, they are confidently moving forward. Each of them has ambitious plans for Ukraine. And with Donetsk region.
At a meeting with the head of the region, Vadym Filashkin, the graduates spoke about their achievements, dreams and choices for the future. They were accompanied by teachers who have been training 200-point students for years and parents who have been by their side on this difficult journey.
Vadym Filashkin emphasized: "This result is the joint work of a student, teacher and family. It is about the power of a common goal. And about memory. Because on this path we always remember those we have lost."
The meeting was warm and sincere. The teachers shared their experiences, hopes and motivation strategies. They confirmed that even in the midst of war, Donetsk Oblast is holding the educational front as a result of systematic, hard work.
At the end of the meeting, a symbolic exchange of gifts took place. Vadym Filashkin was presented with an embroidered portrait of Taras Shevchenko. And the best graduates and their mentors received memorable gifts and cash certificates from the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Academy.
