Even in challenging times for the Donetsk region, businesses continue to find resources for growth. A vivid example of such resilience is the work of Kramatorsk entrepreneur Lada Bohomolova, whose animal care and grooming center “Animals” was visited by Nataliia Adamova, Director of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center.
This meeting was not only a review of the grant program’s results, but also a sincere dialogue about how state support is transformed into real assistance for both the community and business.
Lada Bohomolova has devoted more than ten years to animal care. Thanks to her participation in the government program “Own Business,” she received a microgrant that became a powerful driver for modernizing her clinic.
With these funds, she purchased modern equipment for specialized diagnostics, as well as tools for performing complex procedures and treatments.
For Kramatorsk, the development of each business primarily means new opportunities for people who have remained in the city. A key condition for receiving the grant is the creation of new jobs, and Lada Bohomolova successfully fulfilled this requirement. As a result of expanding the team, an administrator and a groomer joined the “Animals” center, allowing the clinic to add professional grooming services to its medical profile.
Nataliia Adamova emphasized that such examples form the foundation for the region’s economic recovery:
“Today, the Employment Service works in close partnership with businesses. A grant is not just funding—it means new jobs, quality services for people, and confidence in the future for the entire community. It is precisely such stories that shape the recovery of the Donetsk region,” she noted.
