The Pension Fund of Ukraine reminds: confirming your identity ensures that payments are received именно вами. If you receive a pension, insurance payments, or social assistance, it’s important to check whether you need to undergo identification this year.
Who needs to do this?
According to Resolution No. 299 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the procedure applies to people who:
live in temporarily occupied territories (TOT);
are temporarily staying abroad.

1️⃣ Online via Diia.Signature
The fastest method. Log in to your personal account on the Pension Fund portal using Diia. Your identity will be confirmed automatically.
2️⃣ Video call
Submit a request on the Pension Fund portal (no login required) in the section “Application for identification via videoconference.” A specialist will contact you to conduct the session.
3️⃣ Through a diplomatic institution (abroad)
Obtain a document from a Ukrainian diplomatic institution confirming that you are alive. Submit this document to the Pension Fund.
4️⃣ Personal visit
Visit any service center of the Pension Fund in government-controlled territory. Thanks to the extraterritorial principle, you can apply at the nearest center regardless of your place of registration or residence.
5️⃣ At an authorized bank
Recipients of pensions or other payments through authorized banks can complete identification directly at a bank branch. You need to present an identity document, after which the bank transfers the information to the Pension Fund.

⏳ Important deadline: April 1
If you live in or have left temporarily occupied territories, you must not only confirm your identity but also declare that you do not receive payments from the aggressor state. This is a mandatory condition for continuing payments from April 2026.
