The Pension Fund of Ukraine reminds you: Verifying your identity ensures that your payments reach you personally. If you receive a pension, insurance benefits, or social assistance, check whether you need to complete identity verification this year.
Who needs to do this?
According to Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 299, the procedure applies to individuals who:
reside in temporarily occupied territories (TOT);
are temporarily residing outside Ukraine.
5 ways to save time:
1. Online using Diya.Sign.
The fastest way. Simply log in to your personal account on the PFU web portal using Diya.Sign. Your identity will be verified automatically.
2. Video call.
Submit an application on the PFU web portal (without logging into your personal account) in the section “Application for Identification via Video Conference.” One of our specialists will contact you to schedule a video call.
3. Through a diplomatic mission (abroad).
Obtain a document from a Ukrainian diplomatic mission abroad certifying that the person is alive. Submit this document to the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU).
4. In-person visit.
Visit any PFU service center in territory controlled by Ukraine. Thanks to the principle of extraterritoriality, you can visit the center closest to you, regardless of your place of registration, residence, or current location.
5. At an authorized bank branch.
Recipients of pensions or other payments made through an authorized bank can undergo identification directly at a bank branch. To do this, you must present a valid form of identification. The bank conducts the identification and forwards the relevant information to the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
How to check your status?
The “My Identification” service is available in your account on the PFU portal. There, you can always view the date of your last verification at https://t1p.de/jxvzk.
