On October 6, 2026, the Velyka Bahachka settlement community in Poltava Oblast and the Oleksandrivka settlement community in Donetsk Oblast signed a Memorandum of Partnership.
The documents were signed by Olga Chernukha, secretary of the Velyka Bahachka Settlement Council, and Lyudmyla Borisevych, head of the Oleksandrivka Settlement Military Administration.
This document lays the foundation for cooperation between the two communities, with a primary focus on strengthening resilience, social cohesion, and creating safe conditions for children and youth through cultural, educational, sports, and other initiatives.
The Velyka Bahachka community has become the third partner community of the Oleksandrivka community in the “Side by Side: United Communities” project, which brings together efforts to support and develop communities in challenging conditions.
This memorandum once again demonstrates that amalgamated communities can serve as a strong support for one another even in the most difficult times.
