Relocation due to war is always a major challenge. For Kseniia Mokhovikova, an entrepreneur from Novohrodivka in Donetsk region, it became not an endpoint but the beginning of a new chapter in life and business.
In September 2023, Kseniia launched her own business, but hostilities and forced relocation compelled her to look for new paths of development. Having moved to Kremenchuk in Poltava region, she not only restored her business but also restarted it with fresh drive and confidence in her own abilities.
The support of the Employment Service played an important role in this process. Specialists helped her recruit a new team of employees. This cooperation also enabled her enterprise to receive financial support — compensation of wage expenses for employing internally displaced persons and people with disabilities. This allowed Kseniia to strengthen her business, optimize processes, and focus on growth.
In addition, Kseniia took advantage of the voucher program and has already submitted documents to pursue a Master’s degree in Psychology. New knowledge will help her raise her professional level and manage her business more effectively.
Her example inspired others: one of her employees also decided to use a training voucher to study the profession of Food Sales Assistant. In this way, the support of the State Employment Service becomes a chain of development and learning for all participants.
