As part of the government initiative "Side by Side: United Communities", IDPs from Donetsk Oblast were able to attend a charity concert at the Sheptytsky People's House free of charge. Dmytro Shynkar, Head of the Ednannia Hub of the Pokrovsk MBA, together with IDPs from the Pokrovsk district, Bakhmut, Vuhledar and Kostiantynivka communities of Donetsk Oblast, received many positive emotions from this event.
The concert at the People's House went by in one breath. Talented vocal and choreographic groups, as well as artists participating in the "eMistechko - Intergenerational Unity" project, performed on stage. The event helped raise UAH 36,697 to buy a car for our defenders. This concert was not only a source of positive emotions, but also a clear example of how Ukrainians are capable of great things together.
The "Side by Side: United Communities" project was launched to help Ukrainian communities affected by Russian aggression. It is aimed at restoring and rebuilding settlements, as well as supporting residents who were forced to leave their homes. This initiative helps to build ties between Ukrainian communities, uniting them to help each other.
"The Side by Side project not only helps to unite communities, but also shows how each of us can bring victory closer. Today we had the opportunity to join a good cause. Every hryvnia, every smile is our joint contribution to the future," said Dmytro Shynkar.
