Almost 120 thousand eager participants have registered and received funds on their card accounts under the eBook program.
Ukrainians who turn 18 in 2024 or will turn 18 in the following years can receive 908 hryvnias for books. The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine initiated the service to support Ukrainian publishers and motivate young people to read. Paper, electronic, or audio versions — buy any books in Ukrainian at participating bookstores.
How to receive funds:
Open the Diia app.
A few clicks — and the special account is ready.
Wait for the account to be credited.
Spend the funds within three months.
Who can participate?
Citizens of Ukraine who turn 18 after January 1, 2024. You also need to have a passport (ID card or foreign passport) and a tax number (RNOCPP) in Diia.
Where to spend the funds?
Only in Ukrainian bookstores and participating publishers. A complete list is available on the website of the Ukrainian Book Institute. Books can be of any genre — from fiction to non-fiction!
How much time?
Three months from the date of crediting. Make sure to choose your favorite books, otherwise, the funds will return to the Ukrainian Book Institute.
