From May 17 to 25, 2025, within the framework of the final session "Results of Young Researchers of Donetsk Region in the 2024–2025 Academic Year," final conferences were held in the circles of the regional full-time and part-time school "Young Researcher" of the municipal out-of-school educational institution "Donetsk Regional Small Academy of Sciences for Student Youth."
Presentations of research projects took place in thematic areas:
- "Science that Changes the World" — students of the circles "Applied Physics," "Electronics and Instrument Engineering";
- "Relay of Scientific Discoveries" — circles "Chemistry," "Environmental Protection and Rational Nature Management";
- "Preserving the Traditions of Ukrainian Philology" — circles "Ukrainian Language," "Literary Creativity," "Folklore Studies";
- "English Language: A Journey Through Time and Achievements" — circle "English Language";
- "Child in the World" — circles "History of Ukraine" and "Law Studies."
The events also included winners and participants of the regional competition of multimedia presentations "Achievements and Innovations of Ukrainian Science: From the Past to the Present," who presented their creative works in the nominations:
- "Outstanding Ukrainian Scientists in the Field of Natural Sciences";
- "Significant Figures of Ukraine in the Field of Philology."
Young scientists presented the results of their own research in various fields of science and technology. Educators and circle leaders summarized the academic year, analyzed the participation of students in competitions, contests, and conferences, noting the high level of interest and preparation.
In the 2024–2025 academic year, 120 students who completed their studies in research and experimental programs will receive certificates of out-of-school education.
Young researchers from Donetsk region successfully represented the region at the III (final) stage of the All-Ukrainian competition for the protection of research works of the Small Academy of Sciences, winning:
- 3 diplomas of the I degree,
- 7 diplomas of the II degree,
- 10 diplomas of the III degree.
These achievements were the result of purposeful, systematic work of students, mentor educators, and scientific supervisors.
We invite students who have not yet joined the work of the Small Academy of Sciences to become part of the scientific community of the Municipal Out-of-School Educational Institution "DOMANUM" next year. The Small Academy of Sciences is a space where children's curiosity becomes the foundation for great discoveries!
