From April 28 to May 2, 2026, the Volyn Scientific Lyceum in Lutsk hosted the final round of the 30th All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Law, which brought together 116 of the country’s top legal experts.

The Donetsk Oblast team once again demonstrated a high level of knowledge and an unbreakable spirit. First place among 9th-grade students, with an impressive lead of 15 points, was won by Ignat Tverdun, a student at the “Uspikh” model school of the Kramatorsk City Council.

Anna Pavlenko, a 10th-grade student at Bakhmut Secondary School No. 10, and Daria Volovod, an 11th-grade student at Lyman Lyceum No. 2, represented the region with distinction and were awarded finalist diplomas.

The team was led by Natalia Pogrebnyak, a teacher at Lyman Lyceum No. 2.

On behalf of Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Ihor Haievyi—Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and a long-time member of the jury for the All-Ukrainian Law Olympiad—congratulated the participants and presented them with commemorative gifts.

A particularly touching moment was the greeting of the Donetsk region team, which the entire hall welcomed with a long standing ovation. As a token of gratitude, the organizers and winners were presented with the landmark publication “Donetsk Region—Eastern Outpost of Ukraine.”

In addition to the competition, the students took part in a rich cultural program, visiting the historical landmarks of Lutsk.

We sincerely congratulate our winners on their significant achievements, which prove that education in Donetsk Oblast remains at the highest level despite all challenges!
