🔹More than 2,840 support specialists are already working in communities across Ukraine, including at medical facilities, and their numbers are steadily growing.
Every day, they interact with veterans, their families, and the families of the fallen: they help them navigate government support programs and available opportunities, and provide basic assistance in resolving everyday issues.
🔹It’s also important to note that most support specialists are veterans themselves or members of their families. They are the ones who best understand the real needs and know what kind of assistance should be provided.

Specialists explain which statuses are provided for by law, help gather the necessary documents, and guide you through all stages of the application process.
📌Cash Benefits and Social Assistance
They provide advice on available benefits and compensation, help submit applications, and track their processing.
📌Treatment, Rehabilitation, and Prosthetics
They help you navigate medical and rehabilitation services, explain where to go, and how to get the necessary assistance.
📌Psychological Support
They refer veterans—both men and women—and their families to specialists and psychological support programs.

They help identify career opportunities, find a job, pursue training, or change career paths.
📌Grants and Starting a Business
They provide information on opportunities to start or grow a business and help prepare for participation in grant programs.

They provide advice on enrollment, retraining, and available educational programs.
📌Support for Families of the Fallen
They provide support to the families of fallen soldiers, helping them apply for benefits, payments, and necessary services.

The “Veteran Pro” project was implemented by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and “Diya,” with support from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine as part of the “Diya Support Project,” which is funded by Sweden.
