Starting from July 1, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine has implemented reforms in the field of social protection of the population regarding the appointment and payment of various types of state assistance. The powers to accept, appoint, and pay state assistance have been transferred to the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
In the Donetsk region, the transfer of electronic personal files of recipients of state social assistance and information for the payment of state assistance in July 2025 has been carried out from the structural units of social protection of the population of district state administrations, military administrations, and local councils to the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Donetsk region.
For recipients who have already been appointed any types of state assistance, there will be no changes; they will continue to receive it.
At the same time, to submit an application for the appointment of certain types of state social assistance with the necessary documents and/or information, one can apply regardless of the registered/declared place of residence of the applicant to:
- the territorial body (service center) of the Pension Fund of Ukraine;
- authorized officials of the executive body of the village, settlement, city, district in the city (if established) council;
- administrators of administrative service centers (ASC);
- by mail - with a complete set of documents and a filled application;
- online - through the web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, or the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services.
Please note! By the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated June 25, 2025, No. 765 "Some issues of the appointment and payment of state social assistance, social scholarships by the bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine", new forms of application for the appointment of certain types of state social assistance and declarations of income of persons who have applied for the appointment of certain types of state social assistance have been approved.
